This book gives a comprehensive description of India’s social scene based on the author’s own studies and experiences about the subject earned from travelling in different parts of the country. India being the largest of all the states in South Asia, her social scene is an interesting and important area of study. This study has focused on the cultural heritage of India, caste, tribal and gender and the social policy issues pertaining to those.
